She can tell he's not a man accustomed to smiling. He radiates strength and gravity, and men like that aren't given to smiles.

There's also a hint, sometimes, that maybe Logan just hasn't had much to smile about in his past. They don't know each other well enough yet at all to broach it, but she can sense it.

It makes the smile curving his lips now feel that much more like an accomplishment. This close, their eyes nearly level, she can see it even lights his eyes.

She taps her glass against his. "To silver linings, I guess."
