Jason watches as she tries again, looking sympathetic when the door doesn't budge. He doubts that he'll be able to get back right now either, but he'll try again later. For now, he'll keep her company.
"Stuck, on a cruise ship. So it's not like it's a lifeboat or anything," he reminds her with a gentle smile. "There are lots of things, alcohol, pools, nightclubs. I didn't explore it much last time."
But he'd be willing to explore it now, which is why he starts to walk away from the door, glancing over at her as they go. "No, I'm not. I volunteer at my old high school, working with kids who struggle with substance abuse that kind of thing."
