[party post] come sail away with me

You've come through a door, and you are on a boat. Specifically, you're on a cruise ship in the middle of some giant body of water. You've come through the door behind you which is attached to nothing and may now be locked. It's relatively empty as giant as it appears to be. The only other passengers that are here appear to also have come through the door for the most part and it is not nearly enough to fill up this entire cruise ship.
Also, who knows who the hell is driving this thing since all of the employees appear to be either ghosts or holograms...
Is this your first time here or your hundredth time here? Do you want a drink or a dip in the pool? Is it day or night? Do you stumble on your room or some other situation either fun or painful within its many rooms, shops, and facilities? Do you run into someone you know or a complete stranger?
The possibilities are unlimited!

Danny's voice comes quietly from off the side. His arms are folded, and he is unarmed. What weapons he carried with him did not make it through as soon as he stepped in. He feels odd without one, as though he has misplaced a limb. His gun has been an extension of him for a very long time. Demons are the sort of thing he hunts, but his demons and Jenny's might be different.
His posture isn't threatening, though he's a big dude.

"So you were taken too?"
If he doesn't know where they are (assuming he's telling the truth and he doesn't look like he has anything to hide), it's the only conclusion she can come to.

Words don't come easily to him, and they haven't for a while. He hasn't been in a situation where he's necessarily had to interact with people other than James, much less interact with people that are new to him. "Tried... just about anything to get the door to open, but -- "
Won't budge.
no subject
"But no good?" She fills in for him. "So maybe there's another way out, you wanna look with me? Much as I'd like to take a cruise, I'd prefer it to be my choice."
no subject
"I've found ... two heads are usually better than one," Danny says in agreement, taking her cue. Whenever she begins to walk off in a certain direction, he will be following her. "Do you think we're the only ones?"
To be taken.
no subject
"Unless one or both of those heads is a complete idiot, but you don't strike me as one, which is why I made the suggestion to start with." She smirks sideways at him. Jenny starts away from the door, glancing sideways at him as they walk down the length of the ship. She shakes her head with a tiny smirk. "If we were, I think we'd need to start comparing notes on our lives to see what it was about us that made us so appealing to SS Magic Kidnappings here. It's a good question though. We should keep an eye out for any signs of other people being aboard."
And then use caution because there's no telling if they're friendly.
no subject
Somehow, he thinks comparing notes could get pretty bleak pretty fast. He slides his fingers into his hair at the back of his nape, scratching his head there slightly in confusion, before he turns to her again. "SS Magic Kidnappings is fitting," he surveys with amusement. It is subdued in nature, but it is who Danny is as opposed to anything else. "The people I did come into contact to weren't really ... people," he answers carefully, in case she isn't used to the supernatural. He doesn't instantly assume that she would.
At first they seemed like holograms, but at least they were friendly! A little.
no subject
She is very used to the supernatural though the demons from her world are the literal biblical kind.
no subject
There's nothing foreboding, exactly, other than the fact they were brought here against their own will. Which should be enough, but he still would like to know why.
no subject
She is betting if they do talk then they likely don't make any sense or answer direct questions. This ship doesn't give the impression that it'll hand over its answers easily.
no subject
It's life and it's how it works and you always have to fight to get what you want.
no subject
The comment is made thoughtfully more than anything else since she knows answers aren't going to be given easily. If there are any answers.
no subject
"Needless to say, it's best that we don't break it to them." A beat. "Just in case."
no subject
"We won't. I'm not all that great at breaking bad news as is." She tends toward bluntness, which could have bad consequences. "So you have experience of your own?"
