[party post] come sail away with me

You've come through a door, and you are on a boat. Specifically, you're on a cruise ship in the middle of some giant body of water. You've come through the door behind you which is attached to nothing and may now be locked. It's relatively empty as giant as it appears to be. The only other passengers that are here appear to also have come through the door for the most part and it is not nearly enough to fill up this entire cruise ship.
Also, who knows who the hell is driving this thing since all of the employees appear to be either ghosts or holograms...
Is this your first time here or your hundredth time here? Do you want a drink or a dip in the pool? Is it day or night? Do you stumble on your room or some other situation either fun or painful within its many rooms, shops, and facilities? Do you run into someone you know or a complete stranger?
The possibilities are unlimited!

... And remember that he is just like you, a dumb teenage boy, in many ways, too.
The thought makes him smirk, but he is quick to assure Spider-man is still, effectively, a badass. "No one will be taking your superhero cred away," Rafe assures him, and a Spidey pancake would be a very, very bad thing.
Please don't go splat, Spidey.
"Or maybe you'll be able to swing yourself up and away to a rooftop in time! Keep the hope, man. Who... were you chasing, anyway?"

He tries not to do that anymore, but this is pretty cool.
Spider-man nods several times. "Good. I worked really hard for that cred, and they threaten to take it away from me like every other month," he says with a smirk.
Not that Rafe can see but y'know. The smirk is in the voice.
He laughs a bit cause the confidence in him is kind of reassuring. "The Vulture," Peter says sounding about as /done/ with the whole business as one can sound.

Maybe he doesn't need sleep.
"If anything I think it helps with your cred once you take 'em down," Rafe says with a grin 'cause yeah, the confidence in Spider-man is strong in this one.
"Oh." Rafe makes a face. Vulture? What kind of super villain names are there now, these days? "He sounds like a blast and a half."
Except no, not really.

He laughs softly at his reaction. "Man, why can't every New Yorker be like you?" There are not as many fans and confidence as y'know... there are people who are like wtf is this guy on? They also likely noticed the big trouble didn't fully start hitting the city until suddenly Spider-man. He doesn't know how he ends up creating as many superviillains as he does. He really doesn't.
There's a soft snort and a cocky tilt of the head. "Yeah. He's about as lame as he sounds," Spider-man says in agreement. "But the door's not opening anyway so."
Looks like he is stuck here in his spandex.

Hey, what'd you do today?
Passed out after playing a video game, man, what about you?
Just saved New York again, no big.
"Uh... maybe 'cause I'm technically from Chicago?" Rafe asks with a tiny smile. He's going to navigate this as best he can without outright lying, but Spider-man. No one understands the magnitude of this meeting, people. "Not that I'm gonna engage in a which is better scenario, 'cause no one ever wins those."
But they do have better pizza, js.
Rafe wrinkles his nose a bit and turns back to the door, his hands curling around the straps of his backpack he's still carrying. "So there's no like... time frame for it? It won't open or close after every so hours? We should pay attention just in case there is."

Mary Jane has a very wonderful relaxing, centering effect on him though.
"Might be it, yeah," he says, and there's the sound of a smirky smile in his voice. "I should think about a move maybe. Chicago, windy cities, deep dish pizza, and people appreciate you."
Hey, Peter likes the deep dish pizza though okay he prefers the thin crust over all.
It'ts a thing. Peter shakes his head in answer. "That's a really smart idea, but I did that one of the first few times I came through out of sheer boredom, and there wasn't a pattern that I could see. Sucks."
