[james turns toward her too, tilting his head to the side. there is always something very easy about interacting with elena gilbert whether that is an elena that he has been through all of those things with or it is one that has never met him. there's an ease to their interactions that he doesn't really find with very many people. connecting to people has always been this struggle with him, but it isn't when it comes to her.
