That hug is definitely a good sign and Alec returns it tightly, pleased that he doesn't have to introduce himself all over again. Things had gotten a little crazy in Alterion, with Tyler and Caroline forgetting him, and Jo on Courascant, he would have hated for Jessica to have forgotten him too. He's very glad she didn't.
