She doesn't know much about what happened after the car accident or her transition. No one's spelled it out for her, but she can connect the dots when it comes to her complicated dynamic with Damon and Stefan. Everything else is fuzzy, and her and Matt in Teleios have been temporarily estranged.
"And I don't know because I haven't been home in a really long time. We're on this ship that pulls people here from different worlds and different times. It's not like the Other Side. We're not dead. We're just ... in between. I know it sounds crazy, but I promise you it's real."
