"You look like you can handle him so..." Ethan says quietly before he steps away from the both of them so he can be far from the thing that is causing him anger (namely, Damon).

Damon smiles at him, waving as he leaves. The smile is half a smirk because he is that much of a jackass. Then he looks back at Anna, lifting an eyebrow. Well, the more that he hears about the future of Mystic Falls, the more he's grateful that he got out of it even if there was no choice in that.

"Didn't happen to me. This ship pulls people out from different times and different universes, and shortly after you died, I landed in Chicago and never saw Mystic Falls again."
