[The worst time to run through a door into a magical alternate dimension boat? When you're in the middle of a shift.

The yellow throated marten that comes skittering through the door, nails scratching against the lacquered wooden surface of the boat, and she realizes all too quickly that this is not going to help her shift back any quicker. New surroundings sends the marten's skittish animal brain into overdrive and while Hana has been doing this for a while, she's feeling a bit skittish herself. What is this? Where is she?

Why does she always fall through rabbit holes at the least opportune moment?

Still, she takes it in stride, trying to hold on to the shift for as long as she can (being naked in all of this isn't exactly ideal either), and hops up onto the nearest railing in order to get a better look. From what she could tell of this boat, it was huge, expansive in a way she hadn't anticipated. The more she travels, the more she gets excited and okay. This is kind of cool. So she's climbing across railings, climbing people like trees so she can sit on their shoulders, and just generally being an all around nuisance.

It's how she rolls.

Eventually Hana the yellow-throated marten will have to go back to being Hana the girl, and the boat will be +1 very naked teenage girl who will be hiding behind bars and trying to cover herself with towels and bathrobes, but until then she's sliding around in animal form, just having a good ol' time.

[ mireya guevara has never been on the boat before.

her brother, rafe, has told her all the stories about it, but she'd never had the inclination to believe him until now. the first thing she sets about doing, with an alarming lack of carefulness, is explore. one of the first rooms she finds is an ice cream room. that is, a room that's set up like a giant ice cream parlor, has every ice cream flavor imaginable, and doesn't seem to ever run out of ice cream.

and so, mireya is currently setting out to make the biggest ice cream sundae in existence.

there's one slight catch, of course.

if you stay in the ice cream room long enough, you're sucked into a rabbit hole that's hidden in the back.

so just know before you tag her your character might end up somewhere else altogether. you'll be in my clutches and where your character ends up is a mystery. but at least there's ice cream. :') ]
